Rain for July so far..........

The rainfall for the month of July is currently running very high after a number of quite dry months, hence the need to dedicate a new blog to the rainfall for Sligo and Ireland.

So far in Sligo up to Mid July there has been 119mm of rain which is as much as the Irish town saw in the Spring season. The rainfall has been pretty severe in the measure of downpours and extremity of it resulting in flash flooding in places as opposed to a gentle watering for the plants that was much needed and cited earlier.

At the current rate the lands round Ireland could become inundated yet again and result in widespread flooding in Autumn and Winter. A mild Winter is currently being muted this year for Ireland from most of the "experts" out there. Mild Winters invariably mean wet weather and galeslooking back over the past 100 years, especially in the 1990s when we got very mild winters with Gales and Storms

UPDATES WILL CONTINUE IN THE COMING WEEKS
